MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH
Hands of Hope Tucson AZ
website: www.handsofhopetucson.com
Since 1981, Hands of Hope, a Christian non-profit organization, has had the privilege of serving the Tucson community. It is our faith in Jesus Christ that compels us to care for women facing an unplanned pregnancy and we believe everyone should have access to the proper care and knowledge they need to make the best decision when unsure about continuing with a pregnancy.
Praises:
- 243 clients made a courageous choice for life in 2016!
- Two new ultrasound machines were donated to our pregnancy center from a local church!
- That the women attending the Deeper Still Abortion Recovery Retreat, April 27-30, will receive healing from their abortion decision and experience God’s forgiveness and full restoration!
- For our prenatal clinic doctors and staff as they interact with women.
- For favor with the University of Arizona Campus Health, that they would begin referring students to us.
- For our Breakdown team members, as they serve their peers and bring a message of hope to local high school students.
Volunteers are needed for this year’s VBS – “Pirates of the Three C’s” – June 5-9. Call Annette in the church office to let her know where you’d like to serve.
Join the Tucson CarePortal as we make a difference in the lives of children and families in crisis! Call the church office and give us your email, or sign up online and you will be a part of the CCC team! Contact Pastor Floyd for more information.
If you are interested in volunteering in our CHILDREN'S MINISTRY, we are excited and have many opportunities for you to serve within our ministry. It's our goal to help you find a place where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of our children. Contact Sherry Stern if you're interested.
- INJOY Thrift Store is in need of donations (household items, books, toys, furniture, etc.). They also need additional volunteers. Call 396-3361 for details.
