Armada Elementary School Newsletter
November 9, 2020
Hello Armada Elementary Parents & Students!
Trimester 2 has already started and student report cards for Trimester 1 will be mailed out next week. If your address or phone number has recently changed, please update in Q Parent Portal. Reminders today and tomorrow are non-student days so enjoy the time off from virtual instruction. In observance of Veteran’s Day, there will be no school next Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Reminder Students, when joining a Zoom meeting in your enrolled class, you will need to sign in with your Actual Full Legal Name (No Nicknames) or you will NOT be let into the class session. This requirement is for your safety and protection during the live Zoom Sessions with your Teacher and peers. We ask our students to have appropriate Zoom etiquette and follow teacher instructions, sign in on time, stay throughout the entire session, mute the microphone when sounds at home may disturb the instructional sessions, and fully participate.
Families, if you missed the 2nd-trimester Materials Distribution during the past week, we are setting up two more Make-up days. Please come on Monday and Tuesday, November 9-10th during Grab & Go Mealtime 11 AM to 1 PM to pick-up materials and student Art Kit. If you have not picked up student items and cannot attend on these two makeup days/times, please call our office to make an appointment for an alternative date and time, (951) 571-4500.
Thank you, Armada Families!
Until next week, please stay safe, wear a mask, practice social distance, and wash hands regularly.
Sincerely,
