What's a One Pager? I wondered the same thing. It is a single page response to a reading selection representing students' own written and graphic interpretation of what they have read. They will show facts and information about the book as well as create a visual representation of the book. Students must include quotes, examples of internal and external conflict as well as examples of figurative language.

Students spend between 4 and 5 minutes viewing one scene per day, comparing its themes, characters, and setting with To Kill a Mockingbird through discussion and constructed responses.
Both environments are poverty-stricken, but come from different times in our history with different socio-economic factors. He wants students to question how, like in TKAM, a child is supposed to maintain their innocence and morality in such a volatile and sometimes violent environment.
