Week 35

What!? The end of the year is 2 weeks away!?!

Reading and Social Studies- We are going back over what it means to ask questions when we read. This was discussed at the beginning of the year and now that we have grown as readers, we can grow in the types of questions we ask when we read! We are also discussing technology and how communication has changed and developed.

Math: We are working on graphing data. We will use different methods to graph and organize our data.

Science: Students will be learning about deserts and continuing to discuss different life cycles.

Severe Weather Dismissal

If lightning or other adverse conditions are present, all outdoor activities cease, including the loading of buses and the release of students. If our campus initiates a “Severe Weather Dismissal,” all students are held in their homeroom class except those whose parents have signed a severe weather waiver. Throughout the duration of the weather event, non-waiver students remain in their homeroom class unless a parent enters the building, presents appropriate identification, and physically escorts him/her out of the building. Once the severe weather subsides, students will once again be allowed to exit the building. Code of Conduct

Please take some time to review the Keller ISD code of conduct with your child to help us provide the safest learning environment for our students.

Box Tops

We have noticed a decline in the amount of Box Tops being turned in. We know it is easy to forget and throw groceries away before clipping them, but our school collects them!! They are valuable!! Please cut them out and send them to school in a baggie, so we can earn money for Caprock!
