Welcome Isabelle
- Please bring in sunscreen to reapply throughout the day, please bring your child already wearing it that way we have more time for outside adventures
- What is Family Fun Day? Everyone comes with a pitch in item (look for sign up sheet soon) to hang out, eat, and watch the kiddos graduation ceremony. It's a super great time (Just my opinion)
Sensory, Art, Science:
We are excited to play with jello, play in water, use orange paint, and we will continue to let our babies play with their food!
Math:
There is always opportunities to use math in everything we do. We count our toys, toes, fingers, snack. We will try to use crayons this month and imitate lines, circles, and scribbles.
Dramatic Play:
We will mix and pour and serve up our pretend food. Using pretend babies, we will rock, comfort, and use nice words.
Social-Emotional:
We like to talk to the babies as soon as possible on things that we know they will be practicing soon. We will also continue to work on our sign language. We have been trying to set boundaries, and use consistency in rules. The word "no" is being used in order for the babies to understand wrong choices. If this is a concern, or you would rather your child not have this reinforcement, please address it with us.
Gross Motor: After introducing Yoga, it's been fun and amusing . We are excited that we can push around walkers and cruse along the furniture.
Zoophonics:
We use the tone of our voice to emphasize the letter sounds. There are links attached below where you can check out more about Zoophonics.
· Remind Me App: It's a free app that we're using to for simple reminders like show and share, friend of the week, physical due dates, etc. Our class code is 26kh9g

Thank You
- Your patience and understanding of switching to a new app
- Thank you Gabby's mom, Laurel, for the soap the teachers received during parent appreciation week. You are appreciated!
- We greatly appreciated the day off to learn some more useful information at teacher training! We had a great day learning about how to better your children's education!
Would you like to donate?
Is there ever a time when you say to youreself, " I wonder if The Tot Spot would want this"?
We could use it in so many ways. You may have babies, but the whole school is yours. Everything can turn into a sensory activity or learning experience. So, before you throw out your junk, ask your teacher if it could be used.
Life Cubby
