RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!!!!
THIS MONTH OUR SIXTH GRADERS HAVE BEEN REVIEWING PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SOURCES-
to help them with the final stages of research for their History Fair Projects. Students identified different sources and discussed what made them qualify as a primary or secondary source. (Hint: A primary source is from the actual time period being studied, and a secondary resource is a step or two away from a primary source.)
FREEDOMFLIX AND TRUFLIX
I am so excited about two of the new resources available through the Aldine Online Resources page.
FreedomFlix and TruFlix are enhanced eBooks. All of the books feature primary and secondary sources, videos, audio, images and text about a wide variety of topics. I encourage you to go online and check them out, there is material available that is suitable for all subject areas. Each book even comes with quizzes and lesson plans!
