I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone here at NES for helping me build my leadership capacity and allowing me to love our students!! Also, thank you to everyone involved in making NES such a special place!! Making moves is bittersweet, as I will miss many of you! I can just hope that my new staff embraces me and make me feel as loved as I am here! I cannot say it enough, but truly, NES is my FAMILY which will always have a very special place in my heart forever! Not looking forward to these last 3 days here at NES. :o( Regardless of what school I am at, please know I will cherish all the moments I have lived here at Norcross!

Scheduling Conferences
Communication to schedule conferences should be sent home by February 2 (but no later than the February 10). Keep in mind we have a 3 day break in February.
Teachers have two options to schedule conferences
- Option 1: Paper method- Parent Teacher Conference Sign up letter will be ready by Thursday, February 2 . If you would like copies, please enter the number of copies you need on the link which follows by Wednesday, January 31. Use the link below to request paper copies of the scheduling form to send home to parents.

COVID Surveillance Testing - Update
Covid Testing will now occur on the first Thursday of each month only. The dates are as follows:
March 2
April (Spring Break)
May 5
- Teachers: Coverage when possible will be provided. Complete the link each week by Tuesday at 3:45pm: https://forms.office.com/r/6aUHpcTG2s
- Students: We will call into the classrooms.
- Location: 3.138 (Building B by the adult restrooms on the 1st floor)

COVID Reporting Updates
Effective today, we will no longer need to enter our COVID cases into the Microsoft Daily Reporting form. The weekly dashboard will be removed from the website.
- We will continue to notify our County Cluster Nurse or myself if there is a concern for an outbreak within a classroom, grade level or school. This will need to be reported to the health department.
- Anyone who tests positive for COVID- continues to follow the guidance of out for 5 full days from the start of symptoms or test date (if they never had symptoms).
- There is no more COVID leave, employee will enter as sick time.

- All certified staff is expected to report; if you are not participating in the pilot, you use the time to plan individually or with your team (i.e. counselors, RTI).
