ONLINE REGISTRATION

FOR GCCISD

SELECT AN OPTION BELOW:

Option 1: I have a parent portal, know my login, and want to register my student(s) for the new school year.


  1. Go to: Student On-line Registration Portal
  2. Enter your Parent Portal User ID and password to login to the Student On-line registration Portal.


*This option is used if a parent is registering a NEW student and has had a student enrolled in GCCISD at one time (current or in the past).

Option 2: My student(s) HAS attended a GCCISD school in the past (a returning student), but I DO NOT have a parent portal User ID and password.


  1. Go to www.gccisd.net, then Parents, then click on Parent Portal.
  2. Click on New Users- Type in the First and Last name of the Parent/Guardian exactly as it is listed under the Student Contact information. If the name or spelling of Parent/Guardian names do not match Student Contact information, it will not link the NEW Parent Portal login name to a student in the system.
  3. After creating a Parent Portal login, Go to www.gccisd.net, then Parents, then click on Online Registration
  4. Enter your NEW Parent Portal User ID and password to login to the Student On-line registration Portal.

Option 3: My student(s) has NEVER attended a GCCISD school. (Including siblings.)


  1. Go to www.gccisd.net, then Parents, then click on Online Registration
  2. Click on Register New User
  3. Complete parent and student registration

Option 4: My student(s) HAS attended a GCCISD school in the past (a returning student), but I don’t remember my Parent Portal User ID and/or password.

Forgot User ID: Contact the student’s home campus clerk/secretary/registrar.


Forgot password:

a. Go to www.gccisd.net, then Parents, then click on Parent Portal.
b. Click on Existing users
c. Click on Forgot Password

Option 5: My student(s) HAS attended a GCCISD school in the past, but not last school year.

Contact the student's home campus to create a Placement Record. Then complete the Online Registration.


  1. Go to www.gccisd.net, then Parents, then click on Online Registration
  2. Click on Register New User
  3. Complete parent and student registration

Option 6: I need to withdraw my student(s) and register the student(s) to a different school in GCCISD.

Transfers must first be approved by the new campus prior to online registration.

Option 7: I am a district employee and need to register my student(s).

Use your TEAMS User ID and password to login. If you are unable to view your student(s) in Student On-line registration Portal contact the student(s) campus.
