We Have The Power To Make A Difference And It Doesn't Cost A Cent!

We saw several students who got off the buses teary eyed and one student was shaking and sobbing. I'm grateful we were there and able to listen, reassure, and comfort these students. There were a variety of reasons they were upset. Their stories would break your heart. After much consoling, the students were able to join in the fun atmosphere and turned their stress, sadness and upset into joy. It makes me wonder how many students show up to school not ready to learn. I appreciate our morning supervisors who are on the playground greeting students every morning. I also appreciate the time staff takes to greet and check in with students each morning. The little things we do have a big impact and can change the trajectory of a child's day. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and months turn into years. Educators change lives. As education researcher John Hattie says, "Know thy impact".

Thank You For The Time & Energy You Give To Meet With Families

Our feedback survey from families after fall conferences was very positive. Families appreciate all you do for their child and so do I!
