Spring Social Fun!
Thank you to our PTO board for organizing the Dilly Bars and thank you to Nikki Hoch for chairing the book fair. Mrs. Burr had lots of fun with families who came to design and build at our maker stations! CORE 2062 enjoyed the evening with you all and they were keeping an eye out for new robot drivers.
We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the time with their family!

Backpack Coalition
The BackPack Coalition has helped students be prepared for the first day of school for over 20 years. Last year the Backpack Coalition gave away 4,916 filled backpacks for students from nine different school districts, including Waukesha.
Applications are now available to receive a free school backpack and school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year. Many but not all items per the school’s supply list will be included. Students in the Waukesha School district that meet the qualification requirements (listed below) are eligible to apply.
If you are interested in getting a backpack for your child, applications are due by the last day of school. More information is linked HERE.

Safe Arrival - Available Now!
1) By far the easiest way to interact with the new system is by downloading the app on your phone and signing up for an account.
2) If you are not an app user and prefer to use your computer signup and login at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/
3) The phone option is still available by calling the attendance line at school. There will be a menu there to transfer your call into the new system. You may however, want to use the direct number 1-866-490-7371. By dialing direct from a phone that is registered with the district, the system should recognize the number you are calling from and be able to quickly identify your children and allow you to confirm their absence.
