Tampa Palms Weekly Update
September 29, 2023
Important Reminders
1. In an effort to keep our students and families safe at arrival and dismissal, please do not block the entrance to the school driveway for the car line, and please do not use the entrance to the bus loop/faculty parking lot as a drop off or pick up point. Please remind your child to cross the road at the crosswalk.
2. Please remember that any changes in your child's dismissal plan must be sent to your child's teacher IN WRITING. We are unable to accept phone call changes for how your child will go home.
3. If you are signing your child out early from school, please remember to do so before 12:30 on Mondays and 1:30 Tuesday-Friday.
Accessing Test Scores and Report Cards
The end of the first nine week grading period will be on Thursday, October 12th. Parents will be able to access report cards online on Wednesday, November 1st.
Families can also access all Progress Monitoring (PM) test scores on the same site used to access report cards using the website https://reportcards.sdhc.k12.fl.us
Parents can also go to the HCPS home page and hover over the "parents" heading at the top of the page. Click on the "Additional Parent/Family Resources" tab on the left-hand side of the page. Under the "Additional Information" column in the center of the page click on "Online Report Cards and Test Scores".
*Students can access their own report cards on the right hand side of the page by logging in with their user ID and password (the same user ID and password used for Canvas).
*If a student cannot access the PM scores or report card for a parent/guardian using their student number, a PIN can be requested by selecting ""Request a PIN" on the website. A PIN can be sent to the email address or mobile phone number of a parent/guardian in the Student Information System.
Families can call the Report Card/Student Scores Support Line at (813) 840-7388 for technical assistance.

It is time for our Fall BOOK FAIR. The book fair will be open in the media center from October 9- October 13th. The book fair will be open the evening of Conference Night on October 12th, so please stop by to purchase books and literacy items for your child.
