A Note From Mrs. Looman

  • From the SEPAC interim leadership: "Come to the SEPAC meet-up! What is SEPAC? MTRSD’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council is a group made up primarily of parents of children with learning challenges and other disabilities, although local allies are welcome at meetings. SEPAC's goal is to support families and students' needs within the public school system and to work with the district to enact change, when needed.

If your child has a 504 or an IEP, or you are wondering whether they might need one, SEPAC can help you figure out who to talk to, what steps to take, what questions to ask and where to turn next at every step of the process. On Saturday, May 20, at 2:00 PM, we will be hanging out on the playground at BSE, with popsicles! Stop by, meet the interim group leaders, ask questions if you have them, and connect with other parents and allies."

  • Last call: Next week is Staff Appreciation Week. I'd like to put together some "shout outs" to staff members letting them know what students appreciate about them. Would you please take a moment to complete this short google form and share what you and/or your child(ren) appreciate about the staff at Colrain Central School? Please only mention one staff member per form, but you may choose to fill out a new form for as many staff members as you would like. Answers will be kept anonymous.

Our staff works so hard to support our students...let's let them know how much we appreciate it!
