Wylie ISD School Board Election

The Wylie ISD School Board election results were tallied and Steve Keenum was reelected for Place 5 while Brad Hill was elected to serve in Place 4. Abe Templeton, Place 4 incumbent, was recognized at the November school board meeting for his three years of service to Wylie ISD. As always we are grateful for those who have given their time to serve on our school board as well as those who will serve in the future!

Mr. Keenum and Mr. Hill will officially be sworn in during the December 14th regular school board meeting.

A Special Evening Honoring Hugh and Brenda Sandifer

Last Friday evening was a night to remember as we inducted Hugh and Brenda Sandifer into the Wylie Hall of Honor. After the ceremony, we headed over to the stadium for the official renaming to Hugh Sandifer Stadium and the unveiling of the new Hugh Sandifer statue followed by a tailgate dinner celebration. Thank you to all who helped make this evening so special. Below is an article from the Abilene Reporter News recapping the evening. The video below was shown at the event and very special to hear all of the memories and well wishes!
