N. County CYC Presents Scholarships
8th Grade Students Receive LePage-Graham Scholarships
At the annual North County CYC Appreciation Dinner on May 13, six local Catholic School students were recognized for their strong academic work and participation in CYC Athletics during their elementary school years. Each will receive a one-time $500 scholarship for their continued Catholic education in high school. The students submitted an application and essay about how CYC Sports and Catholic education has impacted their school years and prepared them for high school.
Representatives from each parish's Athletic Association presented the award to their parish's winning student. The scholarships are funded by the North County CYC Athletic Association in memory of John LePage and Bob Graham, both late members of the NCCYC (and previously Florissant CYC) who generously shared much of their lives in support of offering quality CYC sports programs for kids in north county.
