Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!
The Stinger is our weekly newsletter that goes out to all band families. Here you will find updates regarding classroom band, marching band, jazz band, indoor drumline, color guard and the RHS Band Boosters Association. Please read it in its entirety. We want to make sure that you are all set for the school year and get information in a timely manner.
A list of all communications tools we use is listed at the bottom. Make sure you are connected with your band family!
Our pep band will consist of all instruments in a normal marching band. We are going to try to accommodate our front ensemble students to the best of our ability. We will only play in the stands at HOME football games; we will not be attending any AWAY games.
If you are still interested in signing up, fill out the “Pep Band Sign up” form posted on our home page:
Pep Band rehearsal has been pushed back to Tuesday, August 25. More information will be announced on the first day of school. We will post rehearsal schedules on the RHS Band website.

Still need an instrument? Please fill out the “Instrument Rental Form” on our website. You can pick up your instrument on Monday, August 17th after school. Roswell High School will send out information concerning the pick-up time.
We know that our band students love hanging out with their friends in the band room before and after school, so we thought we'd try to recreate that to the best of our ability!
We've created a virtual hangout for them to come chat with their friends.
It will be available on TEAMS from 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM and then again from 2:00-3:30 PM. Let your students know about it. We will tell them about it next week in class too!
You will need to have instrument supplies on hand for your student. Here are two web sites where you can order them.

If you purchase a half page ad you can select 3 or 4 photos of your senior. If you purchase a quarter page ad you can select 1 photo. JPEGs need to be a resolution of 300dpi with a width of 4-5 inches. Although digital files are preferable, we can also accept hard copies of photos.
If the season for some reason is cancelled the program will become a digital program. No refunds will be given as it costs the Touch Down Club $1000 to design.
If you would like your photo returned to you, include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Return the filled-out order form to firstname.lastname@example.org or 1116 Barrington Oaks Place, Roswell, GA 30075.
