Overdues & Lost Books

Overdue notices are automatically sent every Friday afternoon at 3pm. Please look for and return any books listed. Thanks for your help in getting our readers organized and helping them be responsible for our shared materials!

  • If you believe a book to be lost, please contact Natalie to determine the appropriate course of action (replacing the book or paying the replacement fee).

  • If you are still looking for a book, please keep searching! Your child may continue to check out books in the meantime.

  • If you believe a book was returned, let Natalie know - we can look for the book on the shelf for you.

Upcoming Author Visit

We are excited to host local author Kelly Starling Lyons at the end of May! Kelly has written numerous picture books for children as well as a new chapter book series featuring the character Jada Jones. She is also the co-founder of The Brown Bookshelf blog, which reviews and highlights books by African American authors. She lives in Raleigh with her family, and if you frequent Quail Ridge Books, you just might see her (or one of her signed books!).

Kelly will speak to the whole Lower School at 1:15pm on Friday, May 25. Parents are welcome to attend!
