Dear Parents / Carers,
This week has seen another busy week of school and home learning and, following the results from our recent survey, every child should now have had the opportunity to have some online face to face contact with their class teacher. This will of course look different in every year group as the needs and capabilities of the children differ and therefore class teachers are using their professional judgement as to the needs of their own class. Please take some time to ensure your child understands how to behave online when using chat streams which can be seen by the whole class and staff.
Can I please ask that you let school know if your child is poorly and unable to complete work remotely. This will ensure that teachers know and therefore won't expect work to be handed in.
Next, a reminder that 12th February is a training day and therefore school will be closed to all pupils and there will be no remote learning set for that day. This then leads into half term and learning will restart for all (either at home or for those children of key workers in school) on Monday 22nd February.
Finally, thanks this week go to you; parents and guardians who are working at home, whilst supporting your child’s learning. This is a trying time for all but as it says in the prayer from Matthew’s Gospel, nothing is impossible with faith on our side.
"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you". Matthew 17:20-21
Keep smiling, keep positive and keep safe.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has bought books for the school, they have received over 100 new books to use in the classrooms. The initiative is still running and there are still a lot of interesting titles to buy for the school.

Also, we are posting up a prayer post box outside at church.
If children would like us to pray with them for something, then we are encouraging them to write and decorate a leaf shape prayer (template below) and then walk down with parents to post it.
I will add any prayer leaves to our prayer tree at school assembly and at 'virtual; Facebook live assembly.
