Principal's Update - Mary Quigley

At our PTO meeting the district's two new science and math K-12 supervisors presented a great overview of their department and their work in the K-5 schools. Their slide show presentation is on our webpage. You will find it under Announcements.

Secondly, on Tuesday night, January 26, Michael LaSusa, our Superintendent, will begin the 2016 Future-Focused Education Series with his presentation on health and wellness initiatives under way in the School District of the Chathams. The presentation will include the results from a recent survey of students in grades 6-12 regarding substance abuse, media use, and other health issues; details on how the school district is addressing wellness-related issues among students; and an overview of the college admissions landscape that is a (stressful!) focal point of so many students and parents. I'd like to encourage you to go. It will be at the CHS Auditorium at 7:00.
