Math League Update
The Math League team is back to competing against other schools this year!! Our Gananda Mathletes came in fourth place at their October Meet. Can you solve the first question from the first category?
The answer will be shared in the next Newsletter.

Food Drive 11/1-11/12 Sponsored by the Gananda Rotary
Canned goods (preferably pull tab), Mac and cheese, beef stew, juices, tuna, and other easy meal choices. Toiletries: Soap, shampoo, feminine products, and tissues. Cleaning products.
There will be a contest between Grade Levels - whichever contributes the most will receive a treat from the Gananda Rotary! Drop off supplies in the Main Office.

Work Based Learning
Students in PDL classes have recently updated their NYS Career Plans and are in the process of creating their resumes.
Students have opted to participate in pre-employment training and are meeting with community agency members to develop/enhance their work readiness skills!

Work Based Learning Coordinator
WBL is in full swing. Students are working with our Public Relations Department to gain valuable insight into that profession.
In person shadowing is returning through the Exploring program. See Mrs. Marang for a list of options.
Many local businesses are looking for future employees. Please visit the WBL job board or our website to see all the great opportunities.

Just a quick reminder: Winter sports online registration is open for JV and Varsity Winter Sports as follows:
Winter Varsity and JV Sports:
Family ID registration is open!
Winter Varsity and JV Sports include: Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys Swim, and Cheerleading.
The first day of practice is November 15, 2021. Coaches will be in contact with specific times.
Please remember that physicals need to be current within a 12 month period.
Once the health exam form has been completed by your child's physician simply upload a PDF or JPEG file when registering on Family ID. Forms can be uploaded under the "Participant Information" where it indicates to choose a file for the most recent physical.
