Scenario

The car travels 70 mph at a constant rate. It stops moving when it reaches 350 miles. Below is a lone graph demonstrating this.

Independent Variable

In my scenario, the independent variable is the time in hours.

Dependent Variable

-depends upon the independent variable.

In my scenario, the dependent variable is the distance.

Constant

-goes at the same rate. (doesn't change)

In my scenario, my constant is 70 mph.

Explain

T= time in hours

D= distance in miles

The graph slowly increases because as hours pass, the car goes farther away from where it started at a constant rate.
