THIS WEEK IN ADVISEMENT CLASS...
FRESHMEN: Freshman used a final exam grade calculator to calculate target scores for all of their classes. Also, we covered the calendar for the rest of the year. Important dates and potential class deadlines for late or missing work were emphasized and discussed.
SOPHOMORES: Students will have the opportunity to present their Personal Projects to their Advisement class starting this week. Students will also meet with their Advisement teachers to sign the Authenticity form for the Personal Project. This will attest that the work they did is all their own work.

THINKING ABOUT APPLYING FOR A US SERVICE ACADEMY?
A message from Congressman Jason Crow:
Students who are considering applying for US Service Academies (West Point, US Air Force Academy, US Naval Academy, US Merchant Marine Academy) to attend an informational presentation about the process for applying for Congressman Jason Crow’s nomination to a Service Academy. Nomination from a federal elected official is a prerequisite for all of the Academies except for the Coast Guard Academy, and the process can be very competitive and intense – it is our goal to make it accessible to all students in Colorado’s Sixth Congressional District who are considering seeking appointment at a US Service Academy.
There will be an information session Friday, April 22, from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Candidates will learn about the internal supplemental application and answer any questions from students, parents, educators, and counselors. Representatives from the Academies will also be present to answer questions and talk to students about life at Service Academies.
WHO: Students interested in applying for a US SERVICE ACADEMY
WHEN: FRIDAY, APRIL 22
WHERE: 3300 S Parker Rd, Aurora, CO 80014
