Volunteer Orientation with GHSA: September 17th: 1:30: 309B

Become a monthly volunteer or intern for academic and practicum credits!

In collaboration with Pitt Public Health's Global Health Student Association, Leslie Aizenman, Director of Refugee Services at the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Pittsburgh, will be leading an orientation meeting about the organization's Welcome Home and In Home Programs. Join GHSA and other interested students to learn more about these JFCS programs, where student volunteers will be matched with a newly settled family to teach them about home safety, maintenance, and cultural assimilation at monthly meetings.

Join us in the student lounge (309B) to meet JFCS' Refugee Services Director and learn how you can help newly settled individuals and families in Pittsburgh feel at home. Light refreshments will be served.
