A Note from the Principal

As I sit and reflect on my first year at CCS, I am almost brought to tears. The joy I have experienced this year through each of you and your children is very overwhelming. While we all know that change is hard and we don’t always agree with it, I feel that all of the changes we implemented this year and those to come for next year will help us glorify God in new and exciting ways.

God is doing great things through CCS and your children and we may never see the fruits that each of these precious trees will produce, but God gives us great joy and satisfaction during the process. May each student, parent, and staff member enjoy some time with family and friends and relax and rejuvenate for the next exciting school year at CCS.

Have a blessed and safe summer!

2018-2019 School Supplies

Last year PTF offered school supply shopping online. The feedback was positive so we are bringing it back but going with a different company,

  • Those of you who like to shop at the store will be able to easily access your child's classroom supply list from your phone.
  • Those of you who like to shop online can do so from wherever you are. And, if you use Amazon Smile, you will be helping out the school even more by choosing Columbus Christian School.

Why is PTF offering this? Because we don't want to go door to door selling cookie dough. PTF is taking on more responsibilities so we can help build up the CCS community by hosting events that honor God and create opportunities to meet people, serve others and have fun. We want to help make the CCS experience easy to navigate, friendly and enriching for all. To offset costs, we are providing opportunities such as, BoxTops, Coke Rewards, Paper Recycling, etc.

Thank you, CCS families, for all your support!

From Mrs. Acton...

Dear CCS Students and Families,
My heart is full and overflowing with the blessings I have received over the past 17 years here at CCS. I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach, not only academics, but also the everlasting love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Parents, thank you for the support and encouragement over the years. Students, thank you for making it fun to come to work every day. I had the best job!
May God bless each and every one as we all move to the next chapter of this thing called life! I love you all and will cherish the memories we have shared at Columbus Christian!

Focus On The Family: Agents of Truth

Whether from classmates, neighbors or the larger culture, our kids often hear difficult questions that pose a challenge to their faith. Questions like:

  • Why can’t we ever hear God?
  • Wasn’t Jesus just a good teacher?
  • How do you explain the Bible’s contradictions?
  • Is there any proof that Jesus rose from the dead?

In Agents of Truth, your kids will embark on a series of missions that will help them have a ready defense for these types of challenges. To download your copy of this free adventure kit, fill out the form at
