If you would like your child to continue virtually or would like to home school your child for the 2021-2022 school year, here are your options.

Sixth Grade Promotion
Promotion
I'm so happy to say we are planning to do in-person promotion for our 6th graders this year. We are working on promotion plans. All plans must be approved, and then we will be getting information out to families for planning purposes. Please be patient as we work through this process and create a safe and memorable moment to end the year with our 6th graders. We will be having our in-person promotion on June 2.
Summer School 2021

CHROMEBOOKS ON LOAN FROM VUSD
There are 3 options to choose from in regards to the Chromebooks checked out to families.
Option 1- Purchase the Chromebook
The cost of the Chromebook depends on the model currently checked out to the student.
14” HP G1 (white/teal color) chrome books will be sold for $20.
14” HP G3 Chromebook (black, which does not have a rectangular hole on the left side of the Chromebook near the HDMI port, will be sold for $40.
14” HP G4 Chromebook (black, has a rectangular hole on the left side of the Chromebook above the HDMI port, will be sold for $50.
If you would like to purchase the Chromebook, stop by the office. You can pay either with cash or check made payable to VUSD Technology.
Option 2- Keep the Chromebook checked out.
Families are responsible for the cost of replacing the Chromebook if it is severely damaged or lost, with a charge of $300 for the replacement. Fines will be placed in Aeries.
Option 3- Return the Chromebook
Families can choose to return the Chromebook to Cooper. This is a must if any student is leaving our district.
Screen Replacements
Also, the current cost of screen replacements for the Chromebook is $75. Any family which needs a Chromebook screen repaired can bring it to the district office and I.T. will fix it there.Mrs. Arnett Our Fabulous Librarian reads...........
Bello the Cello by Dennis Mathew - ¨What´s my song?¨ ¨Will I fit in?¨ These are the questions we find a young Cello named Bello asking himself as he tries to navigate the novelties of his first day as school. Maybe you sometimes have these same questions?? Many of us heard the author read this book to us so I thought I would share this adorable story with you all this week!
