News and Notes
Dear Parents,
Happy Catholic Schools Week!! We kicked off CSW with a fabulous Saturday Night. We had a well-attended Open House for our families. We had a beautiful Mass with student lectors, and we ended the night with a delicious spaghetti dinner and some rousing games of Bingo! Thanks to all who attended and made it such a fun night and help clean up.
Join our Parents Guild for our monthly Parents' Guild Meeting this Thursday, February 2nd, at 6:30. The link to the meeting is below:

This Friday we will be sending home our MAP test results via backpack. Please be sure to look out for them this Friday.

Catholic Schools Week Updated Schedule
Tuesday: Transfiguration celebrates our students!
- Dress down
Wednesday: Transfiguration celebrates our nation and our military!
- Bake Sale for Wounded Warriors
- Patriotic Dress Down: Students will show their patriotism by wearing red, white and blue or camo clothes to school.
Thursday- Transfiguration Celebrates our Heritage!
- Heritage Day Luncheon
- Geography Fair/Showcase: The 5th-8th grades will hold a Geography Fair in the gym. They will present their reports on a country they have researched. Family is invited to visit. K-4th will showcase projects they have worked on in the gym. They will not present.
- Uniform Day
Friday- Transfiguration celebrates our school and our Parish!! 11:45 Dismissal

Service Update
SOUPer Bowl Food Drive Monday, 2/06 through Friday 2/10:
Get ready for our annual "SOUPer Bowl Food Drive!" next week! All collected items will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Transfiguration Church!
Just for fun, bring in an item for the team you want to win Super Bowl 2023!
-Cereal / Oatmeal - EAGLES TO WIN!
-Canned Soup / Canned Goods - CHIEFS TO WIN!
BONUS: If we meet our team goal of 300+ items by Friday, we will have a "Team/Sports Jersey" themed Dress Down on Monday, 2/13!

Catholic Schools Kick Off!
Reminder- Community Pints Night!
- Date: Thursday, February 9, 2023
- Start Time: 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Captain Lawrence Brewery, 444 Saw Mill River Road, Elmsford, NY 10523
- How It Works: Donate $10 at the door (for each adult) to support Transfiguration and receive Happy Hour drink pricing for that evening!
- Who is Invited: Everyone! Kids are welcome to come with adults. Please share the details with friends, family, or anyone interested in supporting Transfiguration or receiving Happy Hour pricing at Captain Lawrence!
