The Elves Shop "A Childrens Holiday Store"
OSCS PVO is excited to invite you and your child to participate in the upcoming Holiday Gift Shop program at our school! This valuable program makes it possible for children to experience the excitement of choosing their own special holiday gift for their own family and friends.
The Elves Shop will be set up at school beginning Wednesday, December 13 and supervised by parent volunteers, who will help your child pick out gifts.
We believe participating in this program will create wonderful, lasting memories for all involved for years to come. The children will learn to budget their money, make decisions, and appreciate the value of different items. We can imagine the childrens excitement as they see their loved ones open the gift they choose and purchased themselves! Likely, it will be just as rewarding to see what our children chose for us!
There are always ways in which you get involved. We have provided a money management envelope so you can assist them deciding whom they should by gifts for and how much they should spend. The gifts will range from .25 cents up to $10 dollars. Cash will be the only form of payment we can accept. All remaining monies will be sent in the original envelope with the gifts purchased. This is also a great opportunity to get our children motivated at home by suggesting ways your child can earn extra shopping money. We welcome you to be a part of this great experience.
P.S. Parents and grandparents, please feel free to sign up and be a volunteer of this fulfilling program!
Thank you for all of your support. We appreciate everything you do.
