Huntington Hawks - 7th grade
Science with Mr. Harris!
We have a student teacher!
As I'm sure your students have told you, they have a student teacher in Mr. Harris' Science class! My name is Jolynn Young and I am an MAT student at Georgia College and State University. I did my undergraduate studies at Valdosta State University where I received a B.S. in Biology. I am looking forward to the next nine weeks in the classroom, assisting Mr. Harris and teaching the class! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through email at jolynn.young@bobcats.gcsu.edu
Upcoming Lessons
Next week we will be reviewing the kingdoms of life and their characteristics. Your students have received a chart on the kingdoms that we will have completed this week. This chart will have everything they need to know to study for the upcoming test on Jan. 30th. In addition to this chart we will be doing a vocabulary exercise, a who am I? worksheet, and a review game to ensure your students have been exposed to the information! Anticipated homework to look for this week will include studying for at least 15 minutes every night and any worksheets we don't finish in class.
Some of the Kingdoms We Will be Covering:
Other Kingdoms Include: Kingdom Plantae, Kingdom Protista, and Kingdom Archaebacteria
