The first article explains the facts and quotes of people involving the incident which involved two high school football players to attack a so called "racist" ref. The article is indeed a credible source because it doesn't attempt to persuade you to pick a side about the situation. Therefore, I believe that this article is better because it doesn't portray an image of choosing sides, but instead it states the facts.
The second article gives opinions on the incident such as, "...that's assault, and in the case of two Jay players, it should be approached as such..." which is very inappropriate if you are wanting to write a valid article. This article isn't credible because it portrays a negative outlook on the incident instead of staying neutral.
