Summer School: THE TIME IS NOW

Liberty Academy offers summer school to our most credit deficient students. If your student qualifies for the Liberty Academy program you would have received an invitation in the mail telling you how your student can sign up.

If you did not receive a mailing, your student will need to sign up for Liberty Public Schools summer school. You must sign up online--find the link HERE.

*Online enrollment does require your student's nine digit student number (if you need it, feel free to email Mrs. Streu to get that information: lori.streu@lps53.org)

*It also asks for the counselor assignment for your student for the next school year. Please list "Streu."

Register with the Selective Service System

By law, virtually all men must register at age 18. The registration program allows our government to keep an accurate list of names and addresses for young men, 18 through 25 years old. In a national emergency requiring expansion of our Armed Forces, the list would be used to call men for possibly military service. By registering all young men, the Selective Service System makes sure a future draft will be fair.

See the film: ANGST

Liberty Alliance for Youth and Liberty Public Schools invite you to a FREE showing of Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety, on April 16 at 6 p.m. at Liberty North High School. The event will feature a viewing of the 56-minute film, followed by a panel discussion with Sonya Richardson-Thomas and Elise Bennett. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health challenge in the U.S., impacting 54 percent of females and 46 percent of males, with age seven being the median age of onset, according to the World Health Organization. While anxiety disorders are highly treatable, only one-third of those suffering receive treatment. Join us to help start the conversation.
