A Communication Tool for the Seven Hills Staff
Summer Student Boredom Breakers:
Shoes, Shoes, Shoes! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oZlsmaCL-n7rtQEC4U4EP3QIDpKs6ap2
Who's willing to help create a few more for us to post throughout the summer?!?! It will be so fun! Text Kim Blackburn and/or Marisa Tindel if you are interested! The first one will post this week!
2018 - 2019 Theme Planning:
A folder for the theme for next year has been created:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aLtcz4tR1Y-GYi-O7OWLSPY3ADssEPhp
In the folder you will find the slides from the reveal if you would like to take a closer look. There is also a sign-up for you to choose which team you would like to work with (note: all staff will be a member of a team).
- Shout out to those who already signed up.
- The tree team is full. Trees, please designate a team lead to be the point person on this. We will want to make a template and give out paper for cutting before you leave for summer. Tree Team...are you ready?
- We will need staff on all teams, and we will need a lead on each.
Q also included a map of where each feature will be included from the theme team. If you find an idea you can add a picture to the folder.
There were discussions about feeling as if everything had already been decided. Very little is 100% set in stone. And, the team welcomes ideas and input. Each team will create their own scoreboards - 4 of them to be exact. And, door designs are not 100% decided either.
Thanks!
4Dx Summer Twitter Chat
Beginning with the end in mind, let's read about how to install 4Dx within teams and across the campus this summer. This will add depth and clarity to our PLC Learning Cycle, Scoreboards, and campus and team WIGs for next year.
We will use Twitter as the forum. The great thing about Twitter is that you can join from wherever you are using any device that will connect to Twitter, and if you can't join the chat on the given day, you can add to the discussion after the fact! All you need to know is the # we will use. The calendar for chats is outlined below.
- June 21 7:00 pm: Reflect on section 1 and pages 105 - 117
- July 12 7:00 pm: Installing Dimensions 1 and 2 (pages 118 - 154)
- July 19 7:00 pm: Installing Dimensions 3 and 4 (pages 155 - 193)
- August 2 7:00 pm: pages TBD
I will send an email the day of the chat with any important information you may need. I will post the first question to get the discussion going, and you will reply to my post or create your own post. Make sure you use the hashtag #4DxSummer7 in all posts.
I look forward to chatting and synergizing with you!
3 hours of CPE credit will be given for participation in each chat.
