MEDAL OF HONOR - JANUARY

For the month of January students will be recognized for having a GREAT ATTITUDE! Here are some ways students can show a great attitude at RHES:
  • Realizing if your problem is a big problem or a little problem and not becoming worked up about little problems.
  • Getting what you get, and not pitching a fit.
  • Enjoying the unexpected, even when it's not what you wanted originally. (Showing flexibility)
  • Motivating those around you with a positive word.
  • Using the power of a smile to reverse the tone of a situation.
Please review these traits with your child so he or she can show a positive attitude at school each day for the month of January and all year long!

Eating at School

This year, all students are able to eat at school, free of charge. Our school has breakfast and lunch available. Breakfast is available either at 8:35 am or at morning recess. A student may only eat ONE breakfast/snack and ONE lunch each day. Some students are eating breakfast before school, and then trying to eat breakfast again at recess. Please help them to understand that they can eat breakfast either before school or at recess, not both times, and then eat lunch later.

A message from the Health Office

Red Hawk Parents,

Please remind your student to bring a mask everyday.

We are currently running low on disposable masks. The district has provided washable/reusable masks to every student.

Per the State of California—Health and Human Services Agency
California Department of Public Health.

"CDPH Guidance for K-12 Schools (Guidance) requires mandatory universal masking indoors in K-12 settings—both public schools and private schools—with limited exemptions as specified in the general Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings."

Thank you,

The Health Office

Reminders for Parents:

It's Fall, and the weather is changing. Because it is cool in the morning, and warmer in the afternoon, many students are wearing a jacket to school, and taking it off later (often on the playground). PLEASE take a minute to mark the tag on your child's coat/jacket/sweater with their name so that we can get it back to the rightful owner. It is a good idea to add their name to their water bottles, too!!!!!
