A Message from the Principals
Dear Millbridge Families,
Thursday, September 5th, is the first day of school for students and we can’t wait! Below are a few reminders to help ease the transition back to school.
Student drop-off begins at 8:50 AM after the first bell rings. On Thursday and Friday, our kindergarten students will proceed to the cafeteria upon arrival. On Thursday, our 1st and 2nd grade students will head to the gym where their teachers will be waiting with signs. On Friday, 1st and 2nd grade students will follow normal arrival procedures. There will be a number of staff members available to assist students in locating their teachers. Please help us ensure a safe and orderly arrival by refraining from entering the gym or cafeteria.
Dismissal will begin at 3:20 PM, at which time all students will be escorted to the area designated for parent pickup, placed on their bus, or sent to Prime Time. For parents picking their child up, you will need to enter the cafeteria, present identification and sign your child out. Click here to learn more about our FAST Pass system for individuals who will be picking students up on a regular basis.
At Millbridge we put an emphasis on student safety. Therefore, all students will be placed on the bus or in Prime Time automatically, unless we receive prior written notification from a parent or legal guardian. If you would like to pick your child up from school, please send in a note with your child or email the office at MBoffice@delranschools.org before 10:00 AM. Please do not send emails to your child's teacher with a change for the same day as they may not have the opportunity to check their email before dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation.
Our first day of school on Thursday, September 5th, is a single session (1:00 PM dismissal) for kindergarten students, who will eat a lunch brought from home in the cafeteria. There is a full day for 1st and 2nd grade students and lunch will be served. The cost of lunch is $2.45. If your child received free and reduced lunch during the 2018-2019 school year, he or she will remain eligible until October 10th. Free and reduced lunch forms are available on the website and will be sent home the first week of school for those who are interested in completing an application. The breakfast program will begin on Monday, September 9th. Forms to order breakfast will be sent home with your child.
We encourage students wishing to buy lunch to establish an account, which can be funded by:
Depositing cash.
Writing a check made payable to the Millbridge Cafeteria with your child’s student number on the memo line. The student number is your child’s portal code without the preceding 1060.
Logging onto Lunch Time on the Delran Schools website under the Parents tab and adding money using a credit card. You can also set up alerts and track purchases on this site.
We are so excited for a brand new school year at Millbridge!
