GaVS Physics B: Week 3 Update
18 week Spring 2017
This Week's Focus: Electricity
We will be continuing our study of Electric Current and Circuits this week. Specifically, we will be focusing on series and parallel circuits.
On Tuesday, January 31st @ 6:00 PM, we will have an Adobe session in my classroom. I will have time for you to ask questions in advance of our due date this Wednesday, February 1st.
As a reminder, the following assignments are due Wednesday:If you haven't been getting the grades you hoped for on your assignments, think about what you can do differently:
- Are you logging on to the live Adobe sessions or watching the recordings?
- Are you spending the suggested 90-120 minutes per day on physics?
- Are you contacting me and asking for help if you do not understand something?
If you aren't doing ALL of these things, try doing them and see if your grade improves. It's worth a shot! And do not wait until the last minute to complete (or start) your assignments, as they take some time to do, especially the labs.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me:

Assignments Due Wednesday (1/25/17)
| Labs Labs that require lab reports, such as the Air Resistance Through Straws Lab, have a special format that should be followed. The format and rubric can be found in the Dropbox folder for that assignment. Don't forget the picture of you doing the lab with a card stating your name, the date, and the name of the lab! This picture is worth 10% of your lab grade! Did you know you can also record a video of you doing the lab and skip writing the lab report? You still have to answer the lab questions, though! | Adobe Help Session Our Adobe Help Session this week is Tuesday, January 24th from 6-7 PM. Don't forget to attend and bring your questions about this week's assignments so I can answer them before your assignments are due. |
Assignments Due Wednesday (1/25/17)
