Prom Information

1. Prom picture forms are at the student service window.

2. This week the price of tickets is $30.

3. If your date is not a student at Sealy High School, you MUST have a guest form turned in by May 13th AND your date must bring a photo ID to Prom.

4. Your name MUST be on the guest list to enter Prom - even if you are a Senior and get in for free!

Tiger Stage Company

Tiger Stage Company will hold the annual OAP Dinner Theatre on Thursday, May 12th. In addition to performing THE THREE MUSKETEERS, our JV group will perform ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Both shows are great fun.


Dinner is served from 6:00-8:00 in the cafeteria.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND will be performed at 6:30.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS will be performed at 8:00.


TSC Alumni will also hold a silent auction with great items. The proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Tiger Stage Company Alumni Scholarship Fund.


Since this year marks the 30th consecutive year that Sealy One Act Play has placed in the top in district, we are selling 30 year t-shirts. The t-shirt front is attached and the back lists all the OAPs for the past 30 years. The shirt is $20 and will make a great gift for any theatre alumni in the area as well as proud parents who have enjoyed the OAP ride.

TSC Kiddie Camp





Date: June 20-23, 2016

Time: 1:00-4:00



Location: Sealy High School Auditorium

Eligibility: Camp is open to kids entering grades 1 through 7.

Cost: Registration is $45 pre-registration (by June 3rd) and $65 at the door

What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty (makeup, paint, markers and juice) and shoes that you can run and jump in to camp.


Participants will be asked to bring minimal costume pieces from home

(such as jeans or t-shirts).


Parents: Parents or guardians will be required to sign children in and out during camp week. Parents are welcome to watch at any time during the week and are encouraged to attend the final performance Thursday at 2:30.


ALL CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME PUTTING TOGETHER A FUN PERFORMANCE!

Class of 2018 Dodge Ball Sponsorship Information

If you are interested in sponsoring the Class of 2018's Dodge Ball Tournament and in having your family's or business's name on the back of the official Tournament T-shirt, please see the sponsorship form below. Forms are due Friday, May 13th and the fee for sponsorship is $35 (includes a complimentary t-shirt).


The 10th Annual Dodge Ball Tournament will be held the afternoon of May 27th here at Sealy High School.

Sealy High School Summer 2016 Cheer Mini-Camp


Monday, July 11th - Thursday, July 14th

1:30-4:30pm

Sealy High School Gym

Cost: $60


Cost includes a camp t-shirt, spirit award, a photo with Tiggy or a cheerleader.

Snack and drink will be provided daily.


Camp participants are invited to cheer during the 3rd quarter of the Varsity Football game vs. Wharton, August 26th at T. J. Mills Stadium.

Basketball Summer Camp

Summer Basketball Camp will be held June 13th - 17th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Sealy High School. The camp is open for boys and girls from 7 years of age through students who will be entering the 9th grade in the fall of 2015. Additional information is on the attached flyer.

Athletic Banquet Information

The 2016 Athletic Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.

A catered meal of Chicken-Fried-Chicken, potatoes, and green beans will be served. Athletes, Trainers and Cheerleaders will receive a complimentary meal ticket and guest meal tickets are available for $10.00 each.

All meal tickets must be picked up or purchased by Friday, May 13th, at 12:00 p.m., so the caterer receive a solid count of the amount of meals they will need to provide.

Spring Final Exam Exemption Information

EXEMPTION FACT SHEET

Spring 2016


9th Graders may exempt 2 exams 10th Graders may exempt 3 exams.

11th Graders may exempt 4 exams 12th Graders may exempt all exams


A semester average + 4 or less absences + no discipline block = may exempt.

B semester average + 3 or less absences + no discipline block = may exempt.

C semester average (79-75) + 2 or less absences + no discipline block = may exempt.

D semester average (74-70) + 1 or less absences + no discipline block = may exempt.


X Discipline = MAY NOT EXEMPT ANY final exam

X Attendance = may not exempt any final exam (in a loss of credit status)

X 8th Period = may not exempt any final (missed two or more mandatory tutorials)

3 Tardies = 1 absence per period



E = extra-curricular/school related absence. Does not count against exemption absences.

M = partial day doctor’s appointment. Does not count against exemption absences.


Questions – see below or refer student to administrators during all lunches!


1. Students taking multiple math, science, social studies or English classes may only exempt one per core area. For example, a student enrolled in geometry and MMA cannot exempt both math finals in the same semester.


2. Exemptions will be based on attendance, discipline, and semester grade average.


3. Please see Mrs. Naida for attendance questions.


4. Students who have exempted an exam do not need to report to that exam. If a student must remain on

campus during an exempted exam, that student must report to the cafeteria for the duration of that

examination.


5. If you have any questions regarding the exemption policy for the spring of 2016, please see an administrator

during lunches.


All Exemption forms must be turned in to the student service window

by 3:30pm, Thursday, May 26th!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
