GWMS Sunday Message
Week of May 2
Kudos to…
- Thank you to all the teachers, counselors and administrators who pitched in on Friday when we had 19 jobs uncovered. In the end we were able to have all the classes covered with out much disruption.
- Thank you to the AA Day Planning Committee, Mrs. Currie-Boyd, Mr. Jones and Ms. Dickey for all of your hard work in making the AA Day breakfast a success. Lastly, Thank you to the orchestra and Family and Consumer Science students for applying their skills. It is an awesome thing to witness students working together using the skills that they learned in class each day.
- Team 7-1- Ms. Spector, Ms. Knights, Ms. Breslin and Mr. Payne for their open mindedness when working with a student who has multiple agencies involved in their lives to provide this student with the best wrap-around services.
If you'd like to add your own Kudos the link is here.

Continue to send your pictures and short write-ups to Ms. Barnes - adriane.barnes@acps.k12.va.us - to share all the wonderful things going on in your classrooms.

HALLWAY SUPPORT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Please stand in the middle of the hallways and actively monitor and support students on their way to class. We need to perform as a unified team in this respect. The power of the many is what makes transitions smooth and orderly. Simply put, we cannot do this alone.

There IS Saturday School this Saturday.
