Principals Corner -
Happy late autumn!
Our school year has been off to a busy start and it is almost the end of the first trimester. The end of the trimester will be Friday, December 2nd, with report cards coming home on Friday, December 9th. We will be having our first Celebration of Success on Tuesday, November 22nd- where all students who have earned less than 4 referrals are able to participate in fun activities in the afternoon.
There is exciting news on our playground at Bryant! We finally have a new slide! Thank you to the PTO, South End Days and a few other family donations for supporting Bryant in the purchase of the new slide. In addition to the slide we have installed two benches on the playground as seating options for both students and adults.
This fall has been amazingly warm, but the weather is definitely changing. Please remember to send your child with warm jackets, hats and mittens for now and boots and snow pants once the snow starts to fly. We often get many questions about how we determine if students play outside for recess. Please take a moment to check out the NOAA Windchill chart by clicking on this link: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/winter/windchill-images/windchillchart3.pdf
We always check the temperature and wind speed multiple times from the Bong Airport station before making the decision to go outside. We go outside for recess when the temperature and wind are in the light blue area on the left side of the graph.
Please let us know if you are in need of any winter items for your child, we have received donations from the community and are looking for families who could use our help to keep their kids warm this winter.
Just a reminder, we do not have school November 23rd through the 25th. Enjoy the Thanksgiving break with family and friends.
Thank you! Our slide is FINALLY fixed!
Two benches overlook the park!

Bryant School Credit Union -
Does your student have a piggy bank at home or lose money just lying around at home? Well if you answered yes to either of those questions. Now is the perfect time to have your child/ren start a savings account at Superior Choice Credit Union. Did you know that Bryant Elementary has a Superior Choice Credit Union branch right here at the school? Open on the first and second Thursdays of the month from 8:45-9:15 in the lunch room. Your student can deposit as little or as much as they want into their account. If your student does not have an account at Superior Choice Credit Union they may stop down on Thursdays and pick up an account packet and return it the following week filled out with both student and parent’s signatures and information on the packet, and start depositing that day! It’s that easy and students can earn prizes just for depositing! If you have any questions you can call or e-mail Danielle Klein School Credit Union Coordinator at 715-398-8936 orDaniellek@superiorchoice.com
