Faithful Foundations Preschool

Our November theme is about giving thanks, and I want you all to know how thankful I am for you! I know there are some great schools you could choose to send your children to, and I'm thankful and blessed that you have chosen FFP. I'd also like to thank everyone who participated and is participating in both the fundraiser we had and donating to our Operation Christmas Child unit. Your participation and donations have made a HUGE difference and we are thankful for your support. I am thankful for love and support of the members and leadership of Clackamas Valley Baptist Church. Their loving support of our school and your children is second to none. We would not be able to do what we do without their support. Finally, I want to thank our hard working teachers and staff; Ms. Tammiesue, Ms. Cheree, and Ms. Crystal and the teacher's aides and staff that work tirelessly on behalf of your children. As we enter into this special time of the year, I invite all of you to take a moment out of your day and remember the people in your lives and special blessings that you are thankful for.

Tuition and Monthly Snack Due by 11/4

If you pay by cash or check, you DO NOT have to pay the online payment processing fee.

The computer system is designed to automatically send a late/overdue payment notice. If you need to make arrangements with us, please let us know so you don't receive the automated notices.

For those parents that bring in a monthly snack, please use the check off sheet by your classroom door to indicate you have brought your snack. If you brought a snack for September and did not check it off, please do so. For those who paid the snack fee for the entire year, we have checked you off for the entire year.

You can Now use Venmo to Pay Tuition

We have created a Venmo Business profile, which you can now use to pay tuition. As a business, Venmo still charges us a fee, however the fee is less than paying online through the online portal 17hats and processed by square. We hate to pass the fee on to you, but unfortunately, they add up. As a general rule of thumb, you can add 2% to your payment to cover the Venmo fee. If we receive a Venmo from you, we will manually apply the amount we receive from Venmo after they take their fee to your tuition balance. You can use the payment chart below to determine the amount to Venmo in order to cover your payment amount.

If you would like to make a payment using Venmo and the amount is not listed you can use a calculator here. The calculator is a square website, but you can use it to determine your processing/transaction fee amount. Use 1.9% and add $.10. Hat Day 11/9 & 11/10

Wear your favorite Hat. "Hat Day" is to emphasize our learning of the letter "H"

Fundraiser/Playground Update:

Some additional donations have come in from a donor for the new playground brining our total fundraising earnings to a little more than $4,500. WOW! Thank You SO much!

Construction and site prep has started on the playground area. Clackamas Valley Baptist Church is coordinating all of the construction and despite running into a couple delays with the supplier on the base layer rock/gravel the project is moving ahead and should be ready for concrete this month. Once concrete is poured, we will need to assemble the play structure, anchor it, order the rubber mulch for fall protection, etc. We will keep you updated.

New Security Camera CCTV System

We wanted to make you aware that Clackamas Valley Baptist Church has installed a new closed circuit television (CCTV) video surveillance system. There has not been any security issues that required a new system, however with the preschool being hosted by CVBC and other children's programs sponsored by the church, the new CCTV system is a welcome addition. We are committed to your children's safety and security.

Kid's Style Thanksgiving Feast

Classes will be having a "Thanksgiving Feast" on November 21 & 22.

November 19: Free Breakfast

Estacada Community Outreach holds a free community breakfast every month. It is free and everyone is invited. In November Biscuits and Gravy along with sausage and eggs will be served. There will also be a variety beverages (coffee, tea, orange juice, etc).

Time: 8:00 am - 11:00am

Where: Clackamas Valley Baptist Church (Same place you drop off)

November 24: Free Thanksgiving Dinner

Clackamas Valley Baptist Church hosts a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving. All are welcome to attend. There is no charge. Please RSVP if you would like to attend.
