Listen to the story How I Learned Geography below. Then choose one of the following reader's response questions to answer:
What would it be like for you and your family to move to a new country to be safe?
How did the boy’s feelings about his father change?

Use your prior knowledge on equivalent fractions. Remember, equivalent means EQUAL.
Answer the following question on a notebook sheet of paper. Make sure to show your work and label.
1. Oliver and Peter had the same length of string. Oliver used ¾ of his string to tie a bundle of newspapers. Peter used 6/8 of his string to tie a bundle of magazines. Who used more string? DRAW a NUMBER LINE and WRITE a comparison (who had the greater amount) to show your answer.

Paragraph: Now that you have your thoughts organized in an outline, all you need to do is rewrite them in a paragraph format. Use your best handwriting and remember to use correct capitalization and punctuation.
