"Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me."

Mark 10:21

Spend some time reflecting on what you need to let go of. Ask the Lord to help you identify them and help you let them go!

Jesus, help me to let go of the things that aren’t really riches and trust in Your amazing love for me.

October is the Month of the Holy Rosary

We will be reciting the Glorious mysteries this week and will offer up Pope Francis’ intention for this month which is to be present to the poor, the marginalized and those who have no voice. The students from 5A and Mrs. Sargenti are our prayer leaders this week.

Generosity is the Virtue of Month

Know Your Classmates Day

Friday, October 26th, is Know Your Classmates Day.

"Know Your Classmates is a curriculum, a campaign and a national awareness day designed to create and nurture healthy and open relationships between classmates, particularly focused on middle school students, from the moment school starts this fall."

Our Lady of Mercy School joins schools across the nation in holding activities on Know Your Classmates Day. For more information, you can click the following link:

Know Your Classmates Day

Thank you to our school counselor Mrs. Lisa Perez for getting the day all set and organized for all of us.

Missionary Childhood Association

The Students received an envelope during their Mission Assembly for the MCA (Missionary Childhood Association. MCA calls it a “leafalope”. The MCA is using it in lieu of the quarter folders from the past. OLM hopes you can be as generous as possible with green bills inserted into the leafalopes: dollar bills, five dollar bills, tens, twenties or even more. All donations go to the SF MCA and then sent to Rome at the World Headquarters for MCA. These funds help provide food, clothing, education materials, water, medicine and health care as needed in all the corners of the world for needy children.

Please prepare the donation in your child’s “leafalope” for today's 10:30AM Respect Life and Mission Mass in the Church. We will have a formal offertory collection for our OLM Bulldogs students by our students in the seventh grade. The funds will be taken up during the offertory as the collection is in our Sunday liturgies. Please come join us if you can spread the Good News of the Holy Eucharist with our wonderful OLM students.

Fire Prevention Presentations

Our appreciation goes out to our friends from the Daly City Fire Department led by Captain O'Brien for the very informative and exciting presentation they prepared for our students. Here are some pictures from last Friday's presentations.

We are working hard to make this year’s event a HUGE success!

On November 16th, 2018, the students at our school will be running 40 laps and asking friends, family and local businesses, for pledges of sponsorship and donations. Everyone, including our faculty, families, staff, and students are all working hard to make this a huge success.

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for your business! We want to help promote your business and increase your customer traffic, while providing excellent and effective advertisement.
