GERMANY!!!!!!!
Expect the trip to cost around $2,800 per person... we will have A TON of fundraisers to help you pay that off! This is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP and we want as many people as possible to travel with us!
We HAVE to have 25 people on the trip for it to make, so start planning now!
MUCH more information from the travel company hosting us will be provided at the FALL PARENT MEETING! A representative from our tour company will be there to give us very detailed information!
it's SUPER important to be at the Parent Meeting!
Instead of using class time to measure new students (and those needing to get a different sizes) for uniforms, WE WILL BE DOING THIS AT THE PARENT MEETING! Fitters will be at school ready to fit ladies AND gentlemen for their uniforms starting at 6:30 pm! They will also be available to fit students after the general meeting concludes!
If possible, I strongly encourage you to be at school to be measured at 6:30 pm if you need a uniform! This way, you will be done much sooner after the general meeting concludes!
Gentlemen who do not get fitted at this meeting will need to get fitted at the Tuxedo Warehouse store in Cumming ON THEIR OWN TIME!
Ladies who do not get fitted at the parent meeting will need to be fitted in the orchestra room on Tuesday, August 29 at 4:00 pm.
We cannot afford to use two class days to measure students-- we need to be playing every day in class!!
Here's how to get to Tuxedo Wearhouse
we are playing starting the second day of school-- just like we always do!! If you forget your instrument, you will not get your 20 points for that rehearsal!
Locker Rules and Guidelines!
The cost to leave your instrument in a locker is $5 per person for the school year. The $5 fees go into an account for the maintenance of the lockers themselves (the more students using the lockers, the more likely they are to need maintenance/repairs).
LOCKER RENTAL IS 100% OPTIONAL. No one has to rent a locker for their instrument! If you do leave your instrument, you must leave it in YOUR rented locker! If you have not rented a locker, you will need to carry your instrument with you to your classes throughout the day.
See below for the official rules and guidelines and the locker agreement everyone must sign before renting a locker this school year.
all personal instruments must have a name tag securely attached to the case!
interested in renting a locker? here's the form you can expect to sign (beginning at open house):
In order to rent a locker, I must have BOTH your agreement and your $5 fee in my hands! I will not assign you a locker until I have both!

Also, that's (<-----) a picture of me kissing a crawfish in Louisiana.
