WOW!! Time is flying...this week marks a FULL year of being in remote learning. As principal, nothing makes me prouder than to see our students and staff engage in virtual learning with such high levels of resiliency and perseverance. So many wonderful things have taken place in our Wildcat virtual world.

I am most grateful for our team of SCCS educators for finding and researching creative ways to build relationships and foster student engagement for optimizing student learning. For example, last month the Student Council and the Social Justice Club hosted our third annual Black History Month Virtual Assembly (click here to view and enjoy), and every Friday we celebrate student and staff successes during Wildcat Time (click here to view and enjoy).

Important Information


!!! Our last day of school will now be May 28th!!!



There have been many changes and updates throughout this school year. All decisions made are made in the best interest of our students and my goal is to make sure you are well informed.


EXAM DETAILS

Final exams will take place between May 17th - May 27th.

May 17th - May 21st students will take exams virtually.

Exams for EOC courses will be face-to-face from May 24th - May 27th. Biology, Math I, Math III, and English II are EOC courses. I will host a Parent Information night on March 23rd @ 6 pm to discuss the various calendar changes and exam updates (Click Here to Register).



SUMMER SCHOOL DETAILS


This year, we will offer Summer School (June 16- July 9) for students who need additional support before being promoted to the next grade level. Students' academic and attendance performance will be evaluated at the end of this school year. Parents will be notified if your student will need to attend summer school. More information about Summer School details will be communicated at a later date.

Please be sure to check your students' grades via the Powerschool Parent Portal. If you do not have an account or need your account information, contact the HS office @ 980-242-3070.

I understand that the changes in the school calendar impact the Class of 2021 and previously communicated graduation date. We are working on providing a new date for graduation. We will provide details to families by March 22nd.
