Pre-K and Kinder Newsletter
Region 7
Here they come! Ready to learn!
- Each family places their best and most precious treasure in our hands.
- Each child will do his or her best with the tools that he or she has. Some will need your help to add to their tool belt.
- For many of these children, you are their "Dream Keeper". You make their future dreams possible.
- The words, tone, and outlook we choose each day can heal or open wounds.
- You've got this because you have heart and skills!
We at Region 7 are here to support you as you navigate through this school year. Please e-mail or call if we can help you in any way.
TX KEA
"After four years of development, we are happy to announce that the Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment (TX-KEA) is now available on CLI Engage! Thank you to all the teachers, administrators, parents, and others who participated in the development of TX-KEA.
Creation of TX-KEA was a collaborative effort between the Texas Education Agency and the Children's Learning Institute at UTHealth and was funded by the U.S. Department of Education. TX-KEA is available at no cost to all Texas public schools. Visit CLI Engage to access the comprehensive assessments, reporting features, and training materials for TX-KEA.
For questions about TX-KEA, contact texaskea@uth.tmc.edu."
