Trouble at the Talent Show
Our Spring Dinner Theatre is fast approaching! On April 14th and 15th at 6:30 in the cafeteria come enjoy some great talent acts, help figure out who posioned Martha, and eat some delicious food served by students! Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door, email Ms. Shelton to reserve your tickets in advance. Bring some extra cash to purchase after dinner desserts and support our Relay for Life team!
Speech and Debate Team
On March 5th we competed at our Districts Tournament and came home with several awards and a state qualifier! Congratulations to all of our competitors for their hard work this year, here's a special shout out to all of our finalist:
Alicia Detterman, 7th place Poetry
Jake DeNunzio, 6th place Storytelling
Abby Falgout and Julia Wolz, 6th place Duet Acting
Zoe Raye, 2nd place Prose - Qualified for State.
Zoe will be competing in Springfield, MO on April 23rd with Districts qualifiers from across the state at the MSHSAA Speech and Debate State Tournament. Wish her luck!

Reading to K-2nd graders for Read America Week
Some members of our Troupe performed storytelling's and read to K-2nd graders to help promote Read America Week
Performing Cat in the Hat for Dr. Seuss's Birthday
Some members of our Troupe went to Discovery Ridge to Perform Cat in the Hat in honor of Dr. Seuss's Birthday!
Participated in Spirit Week
Every day we wore a different color to support Eating Disorder Awareness, the American Heart Association, and Muscular Distrophy
ALIVE
Collected and counted donations for a shelter that houses women and children who are victims of domestic violence called ALIVE.
Angels' Arms Meal
We helped FCCLA prepare a meal for an Angels' Arms family, which is a group that owns homes throughout the St. Louis area so that foster kids can stay with their siblings in a safe environment.
Supported Timberland's Spring Show
Many members of our Troupe went to see Timberland's Spring show! And we even spotted some Liberty love on their set!
Supported Holt's Spring Show
Many members of our Troupe also went to see Holt's Spring show! We love supporting the other Wentzville High School's and their theatre programs! #WentzvilleTheatre
Competed in the Wentzville Speech and Dramatics Tournament
We are super proud to announce that EVERY Liberty competitor at this tournament received at least one award! Congratulations to all, this just shows that your hard work pays off! #EaglePride
Good Luck at State!
We saw our fantastic Dance Team (now State Champions), Wrestling Team (now with several state finalists), and Band off to their State or District Competitions! #EaglePride
Ms. Shelton
Ms. Shelton is the Speech and Theatre teacher at Liberty High School as well as the Director of all Liberty Theatre Productions, Improv Team Coach, and Speech and Debate Coach! She loves spending time with her incredibly talented students coaching and directing them to be the best that they can be! In her free time Ms. Shelton likes watching theatre productions, going to Cardinal baseball games, and visiting the penguins at the zoo!
