FREE SAT/ACT Workshop-3/21

Our first "Books and Balls" SAT/ACT workshop will be held at RHHS on Thursday, March 21st, 6:30-8pm. This workshop is FREE and open to ALL students. Help us plan for this event by registering your child, or having your child register-through the link below:

Car-riders and drop-off in the morning

Students may be dropped off at either the west gym (in front of Harris Trail) or at east gym (in front of the football field). No other area or parking lot entrance is to be used for dropping off your child. In the last several weeks, I have observed many cars using the senior lot as a drop-off location. This is not appropriate. Please don't be a rule-breaker - we have these expectations in place to keep our students and adults as safe as possible.

Athletic Physicals

Athletic Physicals will be provided at RHHS on Thursday, April 4th, in our East Gym.

Prior to arriving for the physical, students must pay on MPP and have the appropriate forms printed and filled out in their entirety.

There are TWO forms, and both must be fully completed. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Prom 2019 - and early release on Friday, April 5

The 2019 RHHS Prom will be Saturday, April 6 at the Savannah Trade and Convention Center. Juniors and Seniors who have paid their class dues and are clear of the Obligations List can pick up their Prom ticket at lunch during the week of March 11. Any RHHS student who plans to attend Prom must be clear of the Obligations List. Students must be in attendance at school on the Friday before prom for at least half of the day in order to be eligible to attend prom.

Students attending Prom often want to leave school early on that Friday. Please know that students attending Prom must be in attendance at least half of the school day on Friday, April 5th.

This year, we are trying something new regarding students wanting to leave early on "Prom Eve Friday". We have developed a form for parents to complete and submit online. Administrators and Administrative Assistants will use the information shared on that form to contact parents and verify permission to leave early. Please help us be as efficient as possible and submit this information to us electronically through this link:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd9WDwFG8Una0ie_NoqJ11q6MeBW45SB-neXpVDZFjPpWRhmQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

You may submit this now through Wednesday, April 3rd. The form will close at 3pm on Wednesday, April 3rd.

Advisement conferences - 9th and 11th grade

Advisors of 9th and 11th grade students will be scheduling conferences over the next few weeks. Our goal is for each advisor to have at least one face-to-face meeting each year with each of his/her advisement students.

Spring conferences target 9th and 11th grade advisement students; in the fall, we held 10th and 12th grade conferences.

If you have a child in 9th or 11th grade, please be on the look out for an invitation from your child's advisor to come in for this conference. If you don't get this invitation by mid-March, please let me or another administrator know so that we can work with your child's advisor to make this happen.

Yearbooks - have you ordered yours?

IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO PURCHASE A YEARBOOK

Yearbooks are ON SALE for $80 until March 31. To purchase a yearbook, go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and key in our school’s order number (902).
