Principals Message

We are excited to welcome ONE MORE teacher to our school. Mrs. Krista Brassine has been hired to create a 4-man/woman team for our 7th grade green team. We will slowly integrate her into the team and when she and the kids are ready to transition to 4 different teachers, we'll make the switch and issue new schedules to the kids. If your child struggles during this transition, please reach out to us so we can help.

The team's new roles will be:

Miranda Heidrich, Math

Laura McDonald, ELA

Steve Wheeler, Science

Krista Brassine, Social Studies

Erika Bowles

James Demetrakis

8th Grade Science

The past couple of weeks we began working on developing procedures for the classroom and the lab. Students also began their first Discovery Lab. They had the opportunity to experience a lab that they were able to design, experiment, research the results of the experiment and summarize the conclusions to their findings. In the upcoming weeks we will begin out their unit on Genetics. Please feel free to reach out to either of us at anytime.

Come cheer on the Shammies at Volleyball Games!
