Has your student talked about or earned one of our Green or Golden PAWSITIVES?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a framework for creating positive and supportive school culture for all. At SRES, we have two teams that focus on PBIS, providing clear schoolwide expectations, positive rewards and restorative responses to help students learn, along with our social skills groups or daily check-ins for those students who might need more.

The schoolwide expectations are Coyotes C.A.N! Cooperate, Are Safe and Never Give Up! all expectations are positively stated and students are praised (given Pawsitives) for doing the right things at school. They are able to turn in their pawsitives for SRES Pawsitive Rewards throughout the year.

The California PBIS Coalition has recognized Sunset Ranch as a GOLD Level school for 2021.
