The Grove Gazette
September 2018
Welcome to 2018!
The halls are alive with our Tigers, young and old! There is something about those early days of school that feels so magical to me. Everyone is fresh and excited. Old friends are reunited and new friendships are ignited. Students hug last year's teacher while embracing this year's teacher.
We are truly off to a wonderful start at Fair Grove. I may be biased, but I believe we are blessed with the best teachers, staff, and students around. Thank you, families, for trusting us each day with your most precious gifts. We promise to love them and teach them like our own.
As always, my door is always open and I am a phone call or email away. Please do not hesitate to reach out at anytime with comments, questions, or concerns!

Traffic Information and Safety Guidelines
Please do not use your cell phone while you move through the drop-off or pick-up line. The proximity to buildings, other cars, and people, including children, make this a time that requires a great deal of attention.
Please do not park in the driveway or fire lanes at any time. This blocks traffic flow and could obstruct vehicles in the event of an emergency.
When dropping off students, please continue moving through the front drive until traffic in front of you has stopped. Please do not drop students off before reaching the sidewalks. This is very unsafe for students as they walk through the parking lot to reach the sidewalk.
Please make sure you pull as close to the car in front of you as is safely possible.
Please do not get out of line to go around a stopped car at anytime. It is important that cars are not moving while students are loading or unloading.
As much as possible, please leave your ignition off while waiting for the line to move forward. We have many students with asthma and air quality is important for keeping them healthy.
Please remember, school personnel on duty are there to maintain order, keep traffic moving smoothly, and insure student safety. Please comply with their requests.
