ISOK Middle School ~11/22/2020

Hello ISOK Middle School!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! There are just two days of school this week before you can enjoy 3 days off. After Thanksgiving break, there are just 3 weeks until the end of the semester and Winter Break! It's not too late to make up any missing work, but time is running short, so we are giving you BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY to have time to connect with your teachers. If you see class connect sessions on your schedule that are required, that means you are missing important assignments for that course and you must check in with your teachers. If you see class connect sessions as optional, that means you can go check in with your teachers, but it is not required. Be sure to check your PLAN for the assignments you need to be working on for each course.

Also on Monday and Tuesday you will also have morning and afternoon social sessions you can attend. See the advertisements below for your choices.

Have a great week.

Mrs. Carrie Smith

ISOK MS Principal

We are excited to announce our school’s new Tutoring Initiative! ISOK will offer personalized academic tutoring based on your child’s needs with an emphasis in the subjects of English Language Arts (Reading/Writing) and Mathematics.

At this time, our new tutoring program will be completely virtual through an online service called TutorMe. Through this program, your child will be able to access a tutor at any time of the day to work on any subject. While the emphasis will be in math and reading, tutors for all subjects are available. The tutor will work with your child’s curriculum to help them improve their grades and gain confidence. The focus of tutoring is to equip your child with different methods of learning so they can have life-long skills in how to best solve problems for assignments, homework and projects.
