Building Healthy Friendships
A Zoom Lunch and Learn for Parents
Building Healthy Friendships in the Early Elementary Years
Friendships are important for children; they bring great joy, a sense of belonging, and opportunities to learn many skills. Young children learn communication and conflict resolution skills through their earliest friend relationships.
Please join us for a workshop designed for the parents of PK-2 children to learn how to support children in the development of health friendships and friendship skills.
Some of our youngest children came of age in a time of reduced social engagement due to the pandemic and may be struggling with developing and maintaining healthy friendships.
Please join us for a lunchtime workshop for parents, Building Healthy Friendships in the Early Elementary Years, where we will share information about what parents and caregivers can do to support their children in developing strong and healthy friendships, including helping develop important social skills and boundaries.
Presented by:
Veronica Chavarria, MSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Program Manager of Care Plus NJ School Based Programs at Florham Park Schools
This Lunch & Learn will be presented on a LIVE zoom--please join us from any device for an hour of learning!
