The Panther Pride
Pleasant Run Elementary School
November 16, 2018
Dear Pleasant Run Families:
Please remember that 2nd quarter Progress Reports will be sent home with students today. I ask that you take time to discuss your child’s progress, particularly their current strengths and weaknesses. This is an excellent time to develop 3 academic and behavior goals as we approach Christmas break.
It is hard to believe that we are only a week away from Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for our students and staff. They work incredibly hard, each and every day. I can’t thank you enough for putting your trust in Pleasant Run Elementary. Please remember that we do not have school Wednesday - Friday. Enjoy the short vacation with your family and friends.
As always, I appreciate your support. Please contact me at 532-3803 if you have any further questions.

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.
The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.
Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
